Why Organic Turf Management?
There are many places around us that require organic turf management because it will effect daily life in an immediate way. Along with your own home, sports fields, local or national parks and your local gathering establishments are just a few places organic practices can change the way we can enjoy life. We should have the ability to sit on the lawn, feel our fingers in the grass, walk our dogs in a field and allow our kids to roll around and play in our parks without any worry of what has been applied to the area. If we are using chemicals to maintain the turf, all these things should not and cannot happen because the materials that are put down are much too dangerous. Maintaining turf provides a safe, reliable and trustworthy area to enjoy that not only looks beautiful, but is positively effecting the world around us. Using safe, organic practices to maintain the soil, control weeds and encourage grass to grow and thrive. This is the basis of what we do.

Our Approach is Different
To give you an idea of our approach, we usually recommend starting with soil aeration, over seeding, and a compost lawn top dressing. These services give your lawn a “fresh start”, and tend to make your lawn much healthier and make maintenance much easier. We also offer organic lawn pre-emergent and lawn fertilizer applications several times per year. These specific products are made up of our own food waste derived compost!
We also offer services to rid your lawn of various types of weeds, lawn diseases, pests, and bare/brown areas. Implementing our organic services will require less overall maintenance over time as your property will be able to adjust naturally to adapt to each application to thrive in the provided environment. All of our applications are completely safe for your lawn, you, your children, pets and the environment.
